Fall Season
MCSFC’s Fall program provides players with the opportunity to enhance their skills and tactical knowledge through high-level training sessions, competitive league games, and participation in tournaments and the NorCal State Cup.
Fall Competitive Season
Marin City Sausalito FC’s Fall season offers an opportunity for players to compete and grow in a challenging and rewarding environment under the instruction and guidance of experienced, professional licensed coaches.
The season runs from early August through mid-November, with the league game schedule released in mid-August. State Cup competition begins in November and may extend into December and/or April for older teams and/or if the team advances to the playoffs. In order to participate in the Fall season, players are required to tryout during the May tryout window.
Our teams train two or three times per week in southern Marin, primarily at Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Park in Sausalito. Home games are hosted at either MLK Jr. Park or Marinship Fields, while away games take place at the host club, typically within Marin or the North Bay. Teams participate in two to three tournaments, depending on the team or age group, with travel limited to locations no farther than 1.5 hours away.
Older age group teams (U12 and up) also have the option to compete in the NorCal State Cup.
To ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for both players and families, it’s important to understand the commitment required to participate in our competitive program. Achieving individual and team success—however it may be defined—requires a serious, season-long commitment from players and their families to attend all training sessions, games, and tournaments.
